I got my feet wet!

Thank you everyone who came out tonight to listen and everyone who takes the time to listen and download for weeks to come! It was so much fun and I am really excited to grow this and make it bigger, better and more fun week after week from now!

Below are the two videos I said I would be posting- the trailer for Jessie's one woman show Me and My Bus and the fan made video for Jake's Hirolude (my personal favorite moment on his album).

Tonight's theme was putting it out in the universe and declaring what we want. Mine is to make The Baub Show a hit! I'm not going to be shy or coy about it anymore. This is something I've always wanted to do and why not? I can't have it if I don't ask for it, and I am officially asking!

What do you want? What have you been preventing yourself from attaining? Declare it now and go after it! The time is now!!

Thanks for listening. Come back next week and tell your friends. We're going to have Shane Mack and Sizzle. It's going to be a lot of fun!

Click the image to download Jake's album on iTunes. It's awesome!

First Show, First Guests... Here we go!

Even though Madonna says, "he has to go", Kevin Costner was on to something when he said, "if you build it, they will come." Well, he actually didn't say it, a bunch of whispering ghosts said it and actually some writer in Hollywood told them to say it, but it is still true nonetheless!

I started building, and now it is coming together! Last year, I premiered The Baub Show on LiveVideo.com. Unfortunately, I am not sure we were all on the same page and the internal politics of the website eventually caused an implosion. The experience left me with trepidations about doing the show elsewhere, because if I am going to do it, I want to do it right. And right to me, means a budget and time to commit fully to the project.

Then a few months ago, I met my new friend Pauly (who feels like I've known forever), who runs his own show called, "Pauly and Marky's Fruit Salad Show" over at BlogTalkRadio. The second I listened to it, my blood started pumping and my heart felt warm, because I knew this was the perfect format for me right now.

When I was 15, I moved from Washington to California and began recording radio shows for my friend Paula. It was called "B.A.U.B. Radio" and there are few things in my life I can remember being so committed to! That was also the resurrection of the Baub monicker and I have maintained it ever since.

With modern technology what it is, I can chat with my friends about anything I want for an hour each week and my friends can call in and join me! The best part is, if you miss the live broadcast, you can subscribe and download the podcast to your iPod via iTunes! This was a huge problem with the video show, as no one wanted to sit still in front of their computers for 45 minutes watching (and honestly, I don't blame them. I have a hard time watching a full TV show online when I miss it.)

I'm going live for the very first "official" time this Tuesday at 8:30pm PST! Come right back here to this website and we will be broadcasting live from that little player in the upper right corner (where you can still hear my test show with "Lucy" and "Sizzle" (featuring the hysterical "Theodore Remix of Jane Wiedlin's Tangled)). You can also visit blogtalkradio.com/theBaubShow to sign up for email notifications and visit the live chat room (I am hoping to have one here by this Tuesday's show).

Now for the best part! For my first show, there were only two guests that I wanted and they both said yes immediately. Jake Walden and Jessie McNamara were my first guests when The Baub Show premiered last summer and I'm honored to have them back to talk about the last year and play a little music!

Please join us! I don't know if I am ready for you to tell your friends yet, but I am definitely wanting my friends at my new party!
